What's happening over on Instagram...

Buckle up butter cup, it's a long one. Twice in the last year I have been caught in the middle of a very heated debate with a man. ⁠ •⁠ 1) About women's health care ⁠ 2) my work and why I do what I do. ⁠ •⁠ In both instances I am very passionate. I stood and I debated and I gave facts for why both are important. & when they could no longer argue my facts with reason, they turned to interrogate me with how I was loud, how I was angry, how I was a disgrace. ⁠ •⁠ I AM fucking angry, I am LOUD, and I will continue to stand, planting my fucking roots and be loud for my sisters losing their rights, for my brothers and sisters who are not allowed to own their own bodies and sexuality. Who are told what THEIR GENDER IS, instead of believing what they tell you.⁠ •⁠ I will stand and I will be angry for those without a voice or who can't speak up. Because I will stand for my fellow women, men, gay, straight, trans brothers and sisters who are being silenced everyday and I will continue to fight until treated with respect, decency and as you should treat EVERY SINGLE HUMAN ON THIS PLANET. ⁠ •⁠ I'm not apologizing for my anger. I'm not apologizing for my volume. And you won't keep us silent. ⁠
